I ordered these for my truck a while ago. At first I bought them and was a little disappointed with the size, but after putting them to work and seeing how much light they put out I completely changed my mind. They are just right for the extra light I need when plowing or I need more light in general. The lights (2) come in a small box and the connection cable has a power wire and a neutral wire each. They are about 5 inches long and should be securely plugged into a power source. Lights are attached by attaching a base plate to the area where the lights should be and then attaching the lights to that base plate. They (lights) are adjustable on the base plate and can be positioned and moved as desired. Accessories are available for these lights, but are supplied separately. - Headlight and base plate(s) only. I installed an on/off switch in the cab of my truck and had no problems with it. If you can attach them to your car, you can probably wire them up too. The light emitted is very bright and can illuminate anything for many meters. I was very happy with the light field given the size of the lamps themselves. I am very happy with this purchase.
