I have owned this cabinet for 8 months now. I wanted something sophisticated for our kitchen that I could attach a food processor to and store my stuff in. i wanted to love it But when I first got it the smell was so strong I figured some ventilation would help. I've tried everything. I left the doors open for a few days, put in a box of baking soda and bought an odor absorber. I can't get rid of it. I also went the extra mile to apply white paint to seal in the scent. Nothing worked. I'm upset because I spent a lot of money on something that doesn't work. After some research I found out that it is formaldehyde. I kept food and tea in it. But now I understand that it is very dangerous. I want to get rid of it, it's so bad. I would also like to add that it gave me a bad headache.
