This jacket is great for the price - warm, soft, wind and water resistant, but the membrane makes a 'crisp' noise when you move. I can still use it for whitetail hunting. BUT ! You MUST avoid ozone on this jacket. This means poor odor control. You will have a challenge after 3-4 hunts with him. If I had known this before buying (it's not mentioned anywhere on the website) - I would AVOID. Maintaining an odorless jacket will be problematic. ALSO, if you're wearing multiple layers, make sure your sleeves are tight. The inner wool fleece on the jacket sleeves moves and follows your layers to a degree. ;-)
