Spring plate hangers in multiple sizes received 5 stars. They are ideal for plates of different sizes as there are 4 different sizes in the set. They attached easily to plates and hung securely on wall hooks which I had to purchase separately. The small white supposed wall hangers that were deliberately incorporated into the spring hangers are completely useless and ended up in the trash can. There were 16 of these, 4 of each size I believe, designed to work with plate holders. They are made of poor quality plastic, the hooks on all 2 smaller sizes were straight or broken and so small that they would not curl up to hold anything other than very thin wire even if all but 2 of the 8 were not broken. . The upper part of the hooks consists of several tiny sharp pointed pins that protrude from both the top and bottom. They were difficult to pick up because the needles were sticking out on both sides. I've tried mounting them to a latex painted wall and couldn't get even the biggest hooks to stick to anything let alone hold anything. I was skeptical about using spring plate holders with hooks that I ended up attaching. With a small jewelry hammer (a regular household hammer was too big): I decided to test it with the smallest set of springs and a plastic dummy board. Good thing the plate was plastic because the hook fell off the wall in less than a minute! I'm so glad it was a plastic toy plate instead of the treasured china plate my grandmothers had! If the rating were solely for spring board hangers I would give them 5 stars but as the wall hooks are totally unusable they arrived broken and deformed - and will not attach properly to the wall causing me to make an extra trip to make to buy them type wall hooks that hold the panels properly. The fact that hooks were included in the product descriptions made me decide on this particular series. I give them at least one star because they try to be thoughtful. I would buy a pen again.
