So I have a replica liquid fuel ship light. I wouldn't light it for anything because I'm not sure how well it's soldered together, but I've captured suggestions that it should be lit up as a Christmas decoration. After researching Revain, I found out that RTGS makes sets of 20. Micro LEDs powered by 3 AA batteries. After estimating the size of the battery, I bought 4 sets: warm white, red, blue and green. The LEDs are on a thin silver wire that can be easily bent into any suitable configuration, and from any distance over 10 feet the wires are almost invisible. The battery packs rested on the chimney's metal casing where they were not visible but allowed good access to the switches. The effect was a complete success! The lights look like tiny red-green constellations and everyone was very happy with my efforts. With white and blue lights, you can use the lantern on different holidays. All 4 kits work and give bright clean color light. It's too early to talk about battery life, but the first kits I installed held up well until there were no signs of draining after about 24 hours of use. I am very happy with these lamps, I would recommend them to anyone who wants lighting like this and I would buy more in a heartbeat.
