Not violet on body

I use Purple Brazilian Clay to make CP soaps and bath bombs. I was happy to try this as it was a better price than my usual supplier. Right out of the box it looked very light, a pale purple color, much lighter than what I'm used to. Thought I'd give it a try anyway and maybe darken up after mixing with my wet ingredients. But when I mixed it with my ingredients, it wasn't purple. Looked more like white. I used it in the same proportions as another purple Brazilian clay I've used in the past from another supplier. I understand that natural ingredients may vary slightly due to the fact that they are natural. purple - I think I need to use a lot of it to get a darker color - MAYBE? As I said, the beginning was very easy. I won't buy this again.

Pros
  • Brazilian violet clay is a superb violet clay mineral rich in magnesium and potassium. Benefits: Removes impurities, promotes skin and hair balance without dehydration.
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
