My family has trusted St Ives for at least three generations. This is another solid product from them. My package arrived in just a few business days, the lids were sealed, well padded and compact. Can be opened easily. It is easy to apply, has a pleasantly mild smell and a thick consistency. You can see small cleaning particles when you squeeze it out of the tube. The tube is arranged from top to bottom, so it can be easily pulled out. After the first use my face felt soft and fresh. The second and third days brought promising results, with little hassle. I stopped using it on the third day and after the third use because my face became irritated after use and during sun exposure. Exfoliating particles are rough even for a "deep" exfoliant. I have combination and slightly sensitive skin. Tubes are recommended up to 4 times a week. I cut back to once a week and then use a milder daily/regular wash. *** This product is also good for exfoliating water-soaked hands and feet! ***
