I bought this camera about 9 months ago and use it a lot, both for photos and short video clips. At the same time, I bought an 8GB memory card, and that was enough. The photos are great and the camera is easy to use. I particularly like the extremely wide viewing angle, which is why I primarily chose this model. This allows me to involve everyone in the room, even if I can't go very far. The only thing that's a little annoying and why I'm not giving it five stars is that often when I want to take a quick photo, the camera takes 2 seconds or more to take the photo. With a 4 year old this is too long and I miss shots due to the slow reaction time. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this camera. It fits easily in my pocket, which means I can always carry it with me. The battery life is really good, so I don't miss any shots due to lack of battery. The optical zoom is very good and allows me to get close-up shots of my little soccer player from across the field or a long shot.
