assembly was easy. I have to say that the instruction manual was quite confusing with all the different languages. It also doesn't provide instructions on how to use all of the attachments. Luckily I have used similar devices in the past and know how to use them. The plastic on the lantern itself looks cheap. Be careful with the light after it is mounted on a tripod. I've seen it break easily. The power cord is long, but in moderation. You must use a pre-existing USB power adapter (like you use for your mobile phone. NOT USB C). If you don't have one, they're pretty cheap and widely available. The metal tripod is well made and reliable. The leg/foot of the tripod extends far enough to better prevent tipping. It comes with a Bluetooth trigger and works like most. Easy to use. Overall this is a great first selfie ring and will last a long time if you take good care of it.
