I used this for horse gear as a kid and now I use it for dog gear and personal leather goods. I used a different saddle soap on a recent trip and couldn't believe the difference. Fiebings makes the skin supple and smooth. Use it to clean, dry the item and rub some soap with a slightly damp cloth to keep it in place.
