Overall, this makes a great gift, especially for a little girl. It was a birthday present for my 10 year old niece and she loved it. I personally liked the part where my sister was nervous at the thought of an aquatic creature with a terrible smell, but to her surprise there was absolutely no smell (I reminded her this is freshwater but if you have any doubts , I'm here to tell you - NO SMELL!) The only thing that upset me was that the chain broke off the necklace on this gift. We bought my niece another necklace but it was just unfortunate. I'm sure others are luckier than us, so I won't stop you from getting this cool gift!
