I needed a large laundry bag. I send laundry out, so it doesn't need some of the typical characteristics, such as a waterproof lining and waterproof exterior bottom panel. All I needed was jumbo. And boy is this jumbo. This isn't standard duffel bag size. You should clearly visualize a bag not just 50" tall but almost a yard across (30"). The material seems very sturdy, and the closing mechanism secure, with reasonable quality hardware. But note: If you filled this with clothes, few ordinary people could carry this. It's immense.UPDATE: I actually did have to return this because of its outlandish size. As a laundry bag, only the Hulk could carry it even 3/4 full. It's not at all clear what this would be useful for in the ordinary life of ordinary humans. That being said, it does seem well made. You could in fact carry a adult person in this duffel bag, in case you want to check one on board to save airfare! Seriously, it's 54"x30".
