They are pretty good for readers. I tested many readers and they were the most aesthetically pleasing and had the sharpest/clearest lenses. The only downside was that one of the nose pads fell off fairly quickly and was hardly used. The seller was kind enough to send a replacement quickly. I ended up returning them because I got contact lenses that corrected my distance and near vision and regular bifocals with no lines so I no longer needed them. But I liked the way they looked on my face and I'm a petite woman, 5ft 2in with small features. It's not just for men.
