Review on 💡 SFF 8087 Internal Connector for Efficient Connector Creation by Donotello Figueroa

I don't often write reviews but people should be warned about particularly inferior products. Tried to connect a SAS3 drive to an LSI 9211-8i with this cable. Nothing. No power, no device detection. Replaced the LSI controller with an Adaptec RAID controller and encountered the same problem. I connected a SATA drive to both controllers using a different cable and the same power connector I used for this cable and had no problems. Finally tried a SAS drive on a Supermicro server with a SAS2 backplane powered by an LSI 9211-8i and recognized the drive with no problems. The problem is definitely in the cable. Tried all 4 plugs, same problem. Stay away! Avoid at all costs unless you're looking for a way to kill time and get frustrated. My drives are HGST 8TB. It drives SAS3 at 12 Gbps.
