In our house we have tried to get rid of waste one product at a time. Now we have our second baby in cloth diapers and we have the luxury that our children are so old that we can reuse many things. We were given many small hooded towels for the baby shower with the first baby but they were mostly too small after he was 6 months old. They were also very thin and didn't dry out almost anything. We saved her but our baby is 11 months old and has the same problem. He's outgrown them and I swear I can see holes in them. Our second child also has SUPER sensitive skin. Almost anything that contains chemicals will cause an eczema flare-up. My first child wasn't like that, so of course I didn't know it was the chemicals in the synthetic materials until I did a little research and spoke to his doctor. Boom, suddenly it just has to be natural, like cotton. So when I found this towel I was very excited. I felt him after the bath with his cotton blanket to avoid pimples. No more accidental breakouts caused by an unsuspecting mom. So yes, in our house we love this towel. It's big enough for my 3 year old and gentle on baby's skin. It's very soft AND SO fluffy even after three or four washes. This is the hooded towel I wish we had for our baby showers and it seems like it will last until the next baby too. I will be buying these for the next baby shower I'm going to, especially if it's the first baby!
