I liked the plastic original, both supported kickstarters but the aluminum ones are terrible. Small plastic and spring internals broke after the first month. Bought a few, one kept locking for no reason, broke when I opened it up. One fell apart when I dropped my wallet from waist height. The last one barely holds me, I removed the insides because a spring was kind of stuck, so now it opens and closes normally, but the cards aren't a fan. I gave my friend a new one and it keeps closing for no apparent reason.
