Uncomfortable and quiet

I'll start with two positives, a cool holographic sticker on the box, the couple's name "BoneBuddy". Now for the cons: you may have noticed that these bone conduction headphones have small earbuds. I don't know why YOU buy bone conduction headphones, but it's probably not for stuffing itchy, clunky junk in your ears. Worry not, as these geniuses have the foresight to add 3 additional pairs of these earflaps, each with a unique whimsical shape, just in case you want to stick a corkscrew in your ear. The best thing about these little things is that not only do they not pose a sound source, they actually prevent your head from touching the bone conduction oscillator. Speaking of BCD, even if you remove the ear flaps and press them firmly against your temples, the sound quality will be terrible and my tinnitus will get louder. The weirdest thing about these earbuds is that instead of a button of sorts on either side, they have a touch area that takes up the entire other side, but luckily that's very handy. To use "Touch MFB Button" all you have to do is find your manual, transcribe the awful English translation and type ULTRA MFB CCC-COMBO BREAKER, and then the beautiful text-to-speech will say something incomprehensible. If even a speck of dust gets on the "MFB", what an abomination do these things spit out pauses, well no pause actually, just turns off the headphones but only for 3 seconds? Battery life is ok and I usually like charging cases but in this case those are cons as in this charging case was probably half the price and I couldn't wait for the battery to die.

  • Good but not great
