In my 60's I tried many readers. My husband loves buying them from the Dollar Store and they were a pain to wear, not to mention you look like you're wearing Dollar Store glasses! I recently bought a pair from a site called "readers" bot.tom :) - they're $15 online. They lasted about 3 weeks and were falling apart not to mention they were so heavy and uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose I could barely wear them. (they slide down) No thanks. I don't have to spend $15 for a pair of readers. I took a chance by purchasing this popular three book set. They're better than average, light weight, look good and you won't even notice you're wearing them. They stay! Each pair comes with a small protective case. I find them good value for 3 couples. I bought 3 strengths. The lenses are clear and serve their purpose. My husband likes them too. I will order more. UPDATE March 25, 2016: Time has been a real test for these readers and I'm happy to report that all three pairs of these goggles passed the test. The springs are still taut and the goggles fit as well as they did when new. No signs of use. UPDATE October 22, 2017: I keep ordering these readers, not because they fall apart, but because I eventually lose them or leave them somewhere :) I've probably placed 6 or 7 orders for the same pair of glasses. Neither couple has broken up.
