I always underestimate subjects because the photos are bigger or somehow enhanced. These brushes look about 7 inches long but they are closer to 4 inches. -4.5". Two of the narrower ones, pink and aqua, bend on first use, causing the brush to bend in half and immediately becoming less effective. Of course they can be bent, but they won't last long with that thin wire. Thickness - green and yellow - feel good because the teeth are mainly rubbed by the brush and not by the wire. That leaves the orange and red, which are just pretty but really over the top when you buy aqua and pink. All in all they are not very well designed , definitely not for long term use as the brush will not last as long as the plastic pen contributing to our now plastic sea pollution which is currently so severe that we are getting micro plastic poisoning in our rainwater and thus in our drinking and bathing water. In addition, after reading Ava Jane's Kitchen, the precious sea, land and sea water used to collect salt is also polluted, so all of our gourmet salts are likely to be polluted as well.
