Review on ⏱️ Reliable Mechanical Hour Meter for AC 110~250V Applications by Jeremy Byard

Installing a hole in my Generac alternator.

I had to cut the bracket that attaches it to the panel a bit and WARNING! Bend the connections UP on the back due to the limited space in the alternator electrical box, but after that it will fit perfectly without the need to cut the metal plate at all. You could also choose not to use a brace and instead drill two small holes and mount with hardware, but I suspect the hardware on the right side would also affect the fit. The hardware is NOT included with the new gauge. It would have been nice not to have the generator running to count engine hours for oil changes etc like I had to do with the old digital model it came with (which broke down after about a year).
