Review on 🔥 Weller Medium Size Soldering Iron - WLACCWSM2 02 by German Diaz

This is a high quality solder mat with many organizational features. There are pockets for tools, small parts, and larger electrical components like capacitors and resistors, with many sections underneath having built-in magnets. The thickness also seems pretty solid as most of the working part seems to be around 4mm thick. There are also 3 compartments with lids. They stay closed unless you move the mat, but if you do, they're almost guaranteed to pop open. A final consideration would be, are all these features worth it? This mat is loaded with organizational features, but appears to come at a $10 premium over regular solder mats. This is a well built and seemingly well designed rug and if it's worth it to you then this rug is worth considering. If you just need a rug to protect your table/bench I might consider an unnamed rug of the same thickness. Note. At the time of this writing the photos in the description looked like a mirror image. Compare them to the rug I received to see how different it is from the one pictured above. Not really an issue for me, but something to consider if mat orientation/position is important to you.
