Business style belt with foam padding (comfort and support), open size, I wear a size 36 and the belt fits perfectly. The leather of the belt is sewn on both sides and looks hard-wearing. The belt has a fancy and original buckle that lifts easily for tightening and loosening, with plastic grooves on the back of the belt that fit into the buckle's two-piece ratchet bar. The strap is not expensive ($20) at the time of review and is easy to put on, tighten or loosen. The belt is made of treated leather and is water-repellent. The only problem I had was that after cutting the belt to size it was very difficult to insert the end piece into the stay bar pins, I had to use quite a bit of force to get the sharp burrs into the treated leather.
