Great for making amazing salads on the go!

I am very impressed from this product. Almost every day I make a big salad with lots of toppings. I originally used pie plates to make these salads because they have enough space to pick and toss everything. However, it was difficult to bring salads to work for lunch, so I found this amazing takeaway salad set! . However, the depth of the bowl and filling compartment balance the square footage. Everything fits. The bottom compartment can comfortably hold 3 ounces of greens. 4 ounces will also fit, but the greens need some packing. I pack the stuff compartment pretty full and strategically, but I don't have to crush anything to close it. In the picture, the tray contains 3 ounces of salmon, 1 boiled egg, 1 tomato, half a carrot, 1/4 cup cucumber, 1/8 cup daikon, red onion, and 2 tablespoons capers. The toilet compartment has a substantial volume, anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 cup. Be careful not to overfill as the lid will not seal tightly. When you put the lid on, you'll easily see if you've overfilled it. I also really like how the setup allows you not to chop your veggies until you're ready to eat them so the veggies don't get mushy. When it comes to serving salad, it's still great. Personally, I like to just drizzle the dressing over the veggies and toss it, then sprinkle it over all of my toppings. From there, depending on the salad, I can toss one corner at a time or the whole thing without worrying about something flying out of the bowl. The plug that came with it works really well. I usually hate eating plastic, but this fork is pretty sturdy and pierces a salad really well. The compartment in which the fork is kept also offers space for a napkin and/or a lucky ticket. The product packaging clearly states that it is BPA-free (many sellers on Amazon lie about this). Minor drawbacks: (1) When the lid is closed, the clear plastic cover covering the connector sometimes doesn't close well. The fork stays. excellent. (2) The product is dishwasher safe, but the lids must be hand washed to avoid damaging the seals.

Pros
  • KEEP FILLINGS SEPARATE: 4 compartment tray includes 1 large 10oz compartment and 2 smaller 5oz compartments for your choice of toppings plus a 3oz airtight container perfect for salad dressing
Cons
  • Not all will fit
