Beautiful for easier use
It's only a year old. The beautiful scenery is scratched in several places underneath (mostly blending in with the rain-soaked road). It also cracked several times until you see three broken sections. So I think it's more for looks than actual heavy-duty protection (I carry my laptop from room to room when tidying our apartment. *See one I bought for my husband for a different perspective (Marble).
