My kids tend to chew on toothbrushes rather than clean them, so we were looking for a versatile package that was good value and of decent quality. Surprisingly, after a few months, they started to wear out like other children's toothbrushes. At first my daughter complained that her stubble hurt, but she may have been brushing too hard. in the meantime she has gotten used to it and uses her toothbrush without any problems. My son, on the other hand, still thinks it's a chew toy and I go through the toothbrushes with him monthly.
