I bought this for my mobile desktop gaming PC. I tied it to one of the table legs so I could move the table a bit. That's why I bought the wired 10ft model. I also wanted a flush mount plug so it would stay in the wall and serve its purpose. The plug is very tight in the socket, so it does the job. The cable is strong but not too stiff, making it easy to coil and wire bind or fasten as needed. I wouldn't normally consider a surge protector/stretcher, but this one deserves a mention. I've been an IT manager for over 20 years, leading a team that sourced and deployed PCs and peripherals, so buying surge protectors was my specialty. With that in mind, I have no hesitation in saying that this is a well-made extension at a very reasonable price.
