I've used different brands of pre-workout powders before but I don't recall ever seeing strawberry and banana flavored powders. I think I was expecting a smoothie flavor from the local smoothie shop, but this powder actually tastes more like strawberry banana flavored bubble gum. Taste is always very subjective, so keep that in mind. I suppose the company gets points for originality, but in the end I would have gone for a different flavor instead. This powder arrived in a double pack but I couldn't find the scoop in the container. I took a spoon and looked for a scoop for a good 5 minutes but found nothing. I expected the scoop to sink to the bottom of the bin, but no luck. The directions say to use 1 scoop, but I couldn't find one, so I had to look at the label instead, which says 14 grams per serving (which is 1 scoop). I found another training powder that I already had that used a 16g scoop and I used that scoop to leave a little room for a 2g difference. Given the size of the container and the serving size offered, this container won't last long, and the label's 30-serving seems overly optimistic. The price of this pre-workout powder is also higher than most of its competitors, making it impossible to switch to. The ingredients themselves are a good blend with no "proprietary blends". With a different flavor and a lower price, I could see myself using this brand.
