At first I was a bit disappointed because I thought the stand is not big enough for my tablet. I was wrong. My tablet is very secure even in the case and the stand is very stable and big enough to hold my tablet. There are handles on the underside to prevent sliding on the countertop. I bought a stand because holding my phone and tablet required my hand and I needed something portable and durable to hold my tablet so I didn't have to. This holder is exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend it.
