Review on πŸ’Š Update International MC-125S Stainless Steel Medicine Case 12in x 12in: Compact and Convenient Storage Solution by Fredo Zhan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

very cool design and finish, some quality control issues and easy medical supplies

First I would give it 5 stars for the style. Very modern and elegant. However, it is true that some others have written about thin metal. Mine arrived neatly packaged and protected, however the bottom right corner was dented or bent. Oddly enough, it's also smooth. If the packaging wasn't damaged I would conclude that this happened during the manufacturing process. I didn't return it as it was a smooth curve and everything else was fine. However, I was able to basically pry off the inner metal lip and side using an adjustable wrench and a brass hobby hammer. The metal is thin enough to do this without the use of a heavier hammer, but not thin enough to flex under, say, a counter with bottles as heavy as jelly or peanut butter cans. I wouldn't put anything heavier on the shelf. The lock is decent and the glass is thick enough, those are a few pluses. It has a pressure plate with a magnetic spring, so no handle is needed. The kit includes hardware consisting of long screws approximately 2 1/4 inches long and plastic wall anchors. It should be strong enough, if you're really putting up something heavier I'd be more worried about the cabinet breaking than the wall anchors. The shelf height allows you to use regular bottles with things like shorter bottles (rather than long-neck bottles) with alcohol or peroxide - that kind. very attractive. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere for a workhorse if that's really your goal. Too bad the design and finishes are so cool. $20 is your target range, $15 is even better. interruption.
