The chair is functional but has some problems, including mechanical ones.

I bought this chair to replace my old gaming chair. I used to have a DX Racer and can compare some of the specs to it. I like the overall wider seat, which makes me feel like I can relax, as well as the neck pillow, which can slide a bit and support my head when I'm seated properly. However, I don't really like the lumbar support that the chair has. It only has a set range of motion and sometimes doesn't stay where I set it, meaning it has to be readjusted. In addition, the armrests move back and forth easily without locking. So sometimes if I move the seat, it will move when I'm playing when I'm not going to. Overall, the base seat has both pros and cons and I would recommend people try it before they buy it. However, my chair also has some mechanical problems. One of the features of the chair is its 130-degree recline. It has a handle at the base of the seat that you can pull to lock the chair in a reclined position within 130 degrees of movement, adjusting it to your comfort level. I like to kick back sometimes just watching a video and until recently that wasn't a problem. However, now when I lean into the chair, the backrest itself just slips out of position and reclines fully, causing it to disengage. It startled me the first time I thought the chair was going to fall apart. I think this is really a budget gaming chair.
