I used ratchet straps on my bikes because I could never trust the cheap cam buckles I used. I had other friends using them and I asked how they can trust them. They said they have been using this brand (Ancra) for years and never had a problem. They loaded much faster than me! Well I decided to buy them. I will never use ratchet straps on my bikes ever again. I can be sure they will lock into place when tightened and they have a handle to pull when tightening. Now I only use ratchet straps to move furniture and the occasional load. If you're on the fence like me, don't be. They work great.
