These coasters are even worse! They look beautiful, but because of the pattern on the sandstone, they don't absorb! Condensation from iced drinks collects on the top of the stand instead of being absorbed into it. Then, when you lift the stand, all the accumulated water from the stand will flow onto your hand, table, floor, etc., making a big mess. I have another set of Thirsty Stone "Natural Solid Sandstone" coasters that I have been using for over 10 years - they are great and still soak up water after all these years. I do not recommend these marble mosaic coasters at all.
