I received this as a replacement for the original Seiko Sportura Kinetic Strap. The original Seiko group was c**p. This group is great. This is a nice, meaty piece of high quality leather that I believe is 158 mils thick (Google says it's around 4mm). Ease of installation. A little stiff at first but I applied some Doc Martin's Miracle Leather Balm and it was immediately a bit more flexible and Doc's Balm should help waterproof it so it can improve the sweat resistance of the strap. I'm not giving it five stars unless it lasts a few months without falling apart, so 4 is the best I can do right now. I hope I remember to update this.
