With two adult cats and two new kittens in the home, we needed a new way to accommodate them. Three $20 hammocks seemed reasonable and they are very cute hammocks. The patterns on it are fun and they can be turned into a very soft fluffy side so you have both summer and winter fabrics. We've only had them for two weeks and the cats love them so far. But I don't expect them to last very long, the straps are thin thin nylon that started to unravel at the edges during installation, they have thin plastic buckles for the adjustable size that barely compress the nylon so I have them simply tied fit. and the metal clasps at the ends of each strap are too small to use for most items so I wrapped the strap around the rack and tried to thread the nylon through the clasp to secure it and almost tore the nylon on the cheap metal clasp. . At the moment they are good enough to carry my largest cat who averages 8lbs but if she were a little heavier she would probably break the strap fairly quickly. The kittens will probably benefit the most, but I'll monitor them for weaknesses and move away if they look unsure. So if you have light cats and don't mind cheap quality, go for it, but if your coat is a heavyweight, you don't like toys or want something carefree that lasts a while, I'd give it a go.
