They work better than water pills

These are wonderful compression socks. I originally bought them because I have fluid retention problems in my legs and feet. My doctor does not know why, other than I have a big beer gut and I am on my feet a lot.the problem started when I had an office job and I was sitting a lot though. My doctor also explained to me that the valves in the veins of my legs lose their strength if one stays stagnant or immobile for a while.anyway if you have this problem these socks will really help you. If you are involved in sports they will probably be great for recovery of tired and sore calf muscles and legs. I am now working a job on my feet 12 hour shifts.I am wearing these socks to work now and I will tell you they have made me and whole different person. I used to get really tired sore painful feet and ankles from being on my feet all day. Wearing these compression socks has made all the difference. I do not get leg fatigue or sore feet hardly at all now, but I have also put plantar fasciitis arch supports in my shoes as well. I'm pretty sure these compression socks are helping with the leg fatigue 100%.These have the right pressure of compression that doctors recommend. When you get these socks be sure to give them about a week to notice the difference of them helping your pain or fluid retention or whatever you're buying them to help with. I know they have helped my water retention swelling and my fatigue pain in my muscles a great deal. These have helped me to actually still have energy at the end of my day. For an eight pack of socks the price is perfect as well. I wrote a pretty bad review on these first and I have gone back to edit it after giving them a good week of wearing.

Pros
  • Very comfortable and so far have not stretched out
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for those with blood clots
