Big and roomy

, I found out that there are two main sizes of butter in the US. There is an east coast version (longer) and a west coast version (wider). My 80 year old mom and I had a very funny conversation about how she made me grow up not knowing the difference. :) The dish feels high quality. It's a bit more than I expected, but it's actually good. Now I keep my butter in a safe place outside of the fridge and enjoy the ease with which I can spread enough grass-fed butter on my bagels and English muffins. Never too old to learn.

Pros

PORCELAIN OIL CONTAINER – Nicer and safer than ugly plastic oil canisters. The container is made of durable porcelain that is chip resistant and more durable than stoneware.
