I'm spoiled. I had one of the best blowers ever. Cafe Casa. It's heavy and froths milk in a way I've never seen other manual frothers do. I'm still willing to try new ones and this was a worthy contender. Let's see how it works. What is a frother? This blower has a cheap plastic base. It looks light and cheap. It has a side switch and the whip works hard compared to some I've tried that aren't as good. It requires two AA batteries to operate and the very light cover on the bottom is easy to knock off. HOW IT WORKS? This fan works fine. It whips well but has a little play in the way it turns. The pen is harder to hold and feels very cheap. I don't think it works as well as the Cafe Casa I have, but since some places sometimes require me to make my own coffee (diet restrictions), I like having one to take with me when I go. It's a decent option if you put it in a box that protects it. A PROBLEM One thing I don't like is the floor. It's round rather than flat. This makes it wobble when I set it up and falls off easily. RESULTS For a cheaper, lighter, more rotating fan, this is a good choice. It has a few improvements that I would like, but it's decent. MY PRICE Three stars. It's just not as solid and pretty as Cafe Casa. It's definitely better than some of the other foamers I've used, so I'm giving it a three, more like a three and a half.
