This scratching post is a wonderful toy for my kitty Ginger! He loves it so much that he can't stop climbing all the time. He especially likes artificial hanging mice and likes to play with them. I also bought him a much cheaper cat coaster but he doesn't like it, probably because it's too simple, uninteresting and heavy enough for him. Cats aren't stupid, they love to play and hunt in mazes just as much as we do and this cat tree is a great way to keep him entertained and occupied and to keep him from scratching spots you don't want to damage. Pretty basic, the instruction manual is easy to read and understand. I would recommend assembling the cat house first and then going from bottom to top. Although the size is quite large, it adds a more dynamic feel to my living room with its soft yellow color and warm texture. I highly recommend this product if you want to bring happiness and love to your furry kids!
