Well built and versatile portable display

Having used this monitor for a while I can say I am impressed. The build quality is excellent and even the packaging was top notch. As an IPS panel, it offers wide viewing angles and razor-sharp images. That's what you need if you plan to use it as a presentation monitor (it also has an anti-glare coating). 1920 x 1080 is a good resolution for a 13 inch screen. The size and weight make it very convenient to carry with a laptop or backpack. I've used it in two ways. Mainly as a second display for my laptop. This improves my workflow when I can post reference materials on a second monitor while I'm writing on the other. However, I also found it very handy when setting up my Raspberry Pi. Sometimes you need to turn on the display quickly and Kogoda makes it very easy. The protective cover on magnets, which also serves as a stand, works very well. And to top it off, Kogoda has included a full set of inputs and outputs. Even the 3.5mm audio jack is nice. The dial on the right edge was easy to use. There are many typical settings that you can adjust (color, brightness, volume, etc.). Out of curiosity, I connected a screen to the TiVO mini to see what the TV would look like. I had the "Standard" settings selected and the picture was very good. Accurate color with clear image. The built-in speakers weren't very good, but they did their job. Adjusting the volume was easy, with the dial on the side defaulting to volume. The only thing missing is the touch controls. But that probably meant you would have to install drivers for this to work. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a portable display.
