Great toy, breaks down in minutes

My kids LOVE them. They are 3.5 and 6 years old. My youngest child has visual sensory needs so thought this would make a great Christmas present. The on/off button appeared a few minutes after playing with it. I thought I could snap it back but the red element inside is also detached. Not sure if I can figure it out with tweezers or something. But it happened to both of them. And the kids weren't being rude, they were literally just trying to turn the thing on and off.
