so I forgot how long I can get this replacement. I wish it felt a little tighter than the original, but that's never been such a big deal. It's just a little jiggle instead of pushing in hard. It never overheats - not even now. Gets a little warm and that's it. fees at a decent price. It's more like my original laptop battery at the moment, which is disappointing as its age is catching up. However, I spent the money and had a nice HP laptop with good specs. 5 years. more? The original cable was slightly worn and needs to be replaced. This replacement was solid.
