True to the old adage "you get what you pay for", this belt couldn't be more true. I rate it 3 stars mainly because it fits, it's cheap and I know it will last. However, in the world of leather there is leather you use for clothing and leather you use to make things, this seems to be the latter. The leather is very thick and will retain the shape it was molded into, especially when moisture (e.g. treated) is applied. I would say my biggest complaint is that the paint used for the leather has faded and stained some of my nicer khaki pants, but as long as I wear a belt it's not too noticeable. All in all a decent quality belt that should last a while (unlike synthetic belts in the same price range), with a few downsides.
