I love this wallet but when I opened the packaging it smelled VERY strong. Not sure if "washable" or not, but I couldn't stand the smell - it smelled like burning matches! - so I had to wash it before I could use it. I didn't put it in the dryer but I tore my purse in the washing machine. I can stitch the gap so it doesn't really matter. The zipper on the inside pocket also stopped working shortly after purchasing the bag. I've had this bag for a few months now and I still love it. I don't put anything in the inside pocket so it doesn't fall out because the zipper is still broken. The tear got bigger, but it's my fault I didn't sew it up the first time it ripped in the wash. I'm bad with a needle so I put off trying to fix it! I like the size of the wallet. It's not too big or too small. I also really like the feel of it. It seems to sit well on my shoulder.
