I love the bright color of this collar. I bought the blue one in a large size for my chocolate lab. I can't keep it out of the water and I really need a collar that doesn't stink because it takes too long to dry. This collar definitely does not absorb odors. Thick and strong, I think it will last a long time. He's been wearing it for about 2 weeks now and finds it comfortable. The vinyl(?) material is soft and doesn't pull on fur at all. The only issue I have with this collar that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that it keeps coming loose. No matter how many times I adjust it around his neck, eventually he will slip back and the collar will be very loose around his neck. This is a rather quiet dog, but it is not safe as it can easily slip off the collar. It's a pain to constantly reconfigure it. For this reason I have to find another collar which is a shame I like everything else about it.
