Pens that grip are sharp.
They look good and work well. Much larger than standard and your feet definitely won't slip... the threads in the cleats that provide grip are very sharp and if you're wearing soft-soled shoes they can tear the sole of the shoe.
Pros
- Easy installation - simply remove the original cotter pin and washer and drive out the pivot pin. To install a new nail, slide the spring over the new nail and insert it into the socket with light pressure. Then slide the pivot pin through the mounting bracket and install the washer and cotter pin to complete the footpegs.
