Look up tutorials on YouTube, use Qtips and buy transparencies

I can't believe I never heard of eyelash perms until I was 38!? you all ladies held on to me! Definitely laugh. I'M IN LOVE! My only complaints are that the pad doesn't stick to my eye with the included adhesive, there are no application tools or transparencies that you need, and the instructions are sucks and say different than the instructions here on Amazon. BUT despite these shortcomings, I still give 5 stars because of the results! Details I wish I knew before I started and tips I would recommend: I would recommend using a better quality false eyelash glue than the one that comes with the kit to glue the pad towards the eye glue. I already had the glue I already had which I checked afterwards and the pad stuck to it perfectly and I wish I had thought of it sooner because the pad didn't stick caused so much difficulty during this process because it kept coming back climbed into the corners and slide up. IMPORTANT: When the instructions state that you should choose an eyecup that fits your eye, it does NOT mean the size of your eye. You basically choose how much curl you want on your lashes (if you look at them from below you'll see that each pad has a different sized bump). My lashes are so straight they actually press against my eyelid, so applying eyeshadow is difficult at the moment. So next time I'll go for an eye pad with a little more curvature so they curve further away from my eyelid.Application tools: I've washed the mascara applicators and used them to apply product but quickly found that they didn't have enough product hand over. So don't overdo it, it's more important that the product is fully absorbed into your lashes, so just use a cotton swab for each step and just dab it in there. FYI, you use glue to stick the lashes onto the eye pad. The instructions didn't seem really clear on this and it didn't seem right to me, but that's what you do. Take your time to glue the lashes exactly how you want them to look after the perm and make sure they are really separated (I left a few grouped and I can tell). I would also just use their glue they include for this part because it's not strong at all so it won't hurt your lashes and washes off easily. About washing the lashes afterwards. I've seen people say not to wash their lashes afterwards. and I didn't want to wash it because of that and got a perm as a kid so I remember not washing my hair after a perm. but i was tinting my lashes after the perm and accidentally got in my eyes and rushed to the sink, had to rinse my eyes right after the perm and they are still frizzy. I thought the perm was going to fall out because of this but it's been two days since then and they seem perfectly fine and haven't lost their curls HOORAY! Finally. You don't have to be an absolute pro or do everything perfectly. My eye pad kept slipping off and the plastic wrap I was using kept slipping off and my lashes still looked so good I am very happy and NO longer have to wear eye makeup. Good luck ❀️
