Review on Dorman 924-438 Seat Track Cover: Ultimate Protection for Chrysler/Dodge Models by Michael Powell

My rating is based on the quality of the materials used. The design and other features in this product looked like OEM, so 5 stars for that. However, the physique that houses the bindings couldn't stand up to anyone heavier than me. The fact is that when I sent my car for repairs, the block broke due to the mounting clamp. Not knowing the weak point of this product I didn't take a picture before sending my car to the shop so I could tell the shop to pay for a replacement. Even after looking at a product that failed, I can only imagine making it stronger by designing the area where the clasp is with a stronger material. I would try repairing my current product with a heavy duty epoxy but not sure if that will prevent future breakage.
