After several years in the construction industry, my experience and knowledge brought me to the office. 25 years on the road I switched to an office job all day long. Sitting all day drained my energy. I found myself bent over the keyboard or on my knees. A$$ hurts from sitting, coccyx hurts. I knew I had to stand. I didn't want to spend $400 on a product that rhymed with "terrible plague." So I tried this product and it was amazing. 8 weeks in use. Sturdy construction, easy to adjust and perfect size. The work surface is a thick piece of high-impact plastic. The frame is made of stamped steel. Steel gears and mechanism. It's easily adjustable in 1/2 inch increments I suppose. As I said, I've been using it for 8 weeks. No failures, no problems. It clearly states not to press more than 22 pounds on it when it's on top. I caught myself leaning on it and had no problems, but don't do it. When folded, you can put any pressure you want on it. If you're looking for an economical, adjustable desktop, this one is perfect. I'll never be an office dweller without him. I recommend to all my colleagues, friends and family. My body feels better and my energy level is much higher. Can't recommend enough.
