The shirt looked great at a formal event we attended with the right tie and a sport coat. It is not terribly thick which is great for someone who gets hot easily. It was pretty wrinkled out of the box so I had to iron it first. I'm approximately 5'9 and 220 lbs. I went with a 2x and the fit was good around my neck and torso.
