I am a big fan of these deck boxes. I purchased one last year, one earlier this year, and another two this year. Unfortunately, the most recent boxes were not packed well. The contents shifted in transit and several of the components were damaged. I emailed Keter and was told that an order had been placed, and I should expect to receive it in 2-3 weeks. It has now been 5 weeks, and Keter has not responded to my last three emails requesting an update. This is typical of the many, many complaints you can find online, including at the BBB. If you order a Keter product, you are basically gambling that the product will arrive undamaged and with all the parts included. If not, then your best bet is to ignore the instructions in the manual re contacting Keter and instead just return the item immediately. UPDATE: At six weeks, I phoned Keter and was told vaguely "a few more weeks." Meanwhile, there have been 13 Vine reviews in response to free product since I first contacted them. So there is enough inventory to send out free product, but not enough to take care of people who have actually paid. Appalling. UPDATE #2: I finally received the four replacement corner brackets yesterday, after 14 weeks of waiting. Still no replacement metal bracket. Who knows when or if I will ever get that. Again, it's just appalling. We are now well into the rainy season here and I am beyond frustrated. UPDATE #3: A little more than four months after I first contacted Keter, I received two metal brackets that bore absolutely no resemblance to the brackets that are actually used in this deck box. Given that they have continued to sell this product, Keter clearly had the ability to resolve this problem long ago. If they were out of spare parts, all they had to do was unpack one of the full boxes and get the spare parts that way. But they chose not to. So not only do they have questionable business ethics, but they are incompetent as well.
